A Not-for-Profit Campsite Supporting Scotland’s Heritage and Protecting our Future
Thorntonloch is more than just a caravan park; it’s a vital part of the local community. Every penny you spend goes directly into maintaining the park and supporting projects that matter, including:
- Maintaining Historic Listed Buildings to preserve their beauty for future generations. Our main reception pictured above was recently updated with a new roof and substantial structural repairs with a total investment of over £120,000.00
- Repairing and fortifying our sea wall to protect the park and coastline from erosion. In all likelihood this project will never really end as climate change and frequent devastating storms become an ever-present threat to both the park and our precious coastal environment.
